The ‘Perfect World’ series perfectly encapsulates the subtle yet profound connection between nature and its delicate inhabitants. Each painting in the series presents a vibrant image of fruits and vegetables and the epitome of life contained within. These images are visual presentations and ink and watercolour narratives of birds and flowers that delve into the natural world’s intricate and often overlooked ecology.

This painting features a durian and a spider. The upper section of the image shows a durian fruit, cut open to reveal its creamy yellow flesh inside the spiky outer shell.
